- 100 grams of Butter
- 30 grams of powdered milk
- 100 grams of palm sugar
- 100 ml Palm sugar syrup
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 2 tsp Ginger powder
- 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg powder
- 1/2 tsp Clove powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Ingredients and tools for decorating
- White chocolate, melted
- Triangular plastic, to taste
- Cookie mold, to taste
How to make
1. In a bowl, add butter and brown sugar, then mix using a mixer. Add the palm sugar syrup while the mixer is still running, then the eggs, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, ground cloves, and salt. Stir until pale.
2. Then sift the flour, baking soda, and powdered milk, then put it into the butter mixture container, and stir using a mixer until evenly distributed.
3. Remove the dough from the container, place the dough on a plastic sheet or wrap the dough using plastic wrap. Then store it in the refrigerator for at least 1-3 hours. This is done because it is easier to flatten and mold the cooled cookie dough.
4. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and open the plastic wrap. Dust your work mat, rolling pin, and hands with flour. Then flatten the dough with a rolling pin until it is about ½ cm thick.
5. Print gingerbread cookies according to the shape you like
6. Preheat the oven, then bake the gingerbread cookie dough at 160°C for 25 minutes.
7. Remove the gingerbread cookies from the oven and then cool them to room temperature. Let the gingerbread cool for 5 minutes on the tin. Then transfer to a cooling rack until completely cooled.
8. After it's completely cold, garnish with melted white chocolate and put it in a plastic triangle. Set the gingerbread cookies aside until the frosting dries.
9. Gingerbread cookies are ready to be enjoyed.
