Maggie is one of Australia's most loved and respected chefs, media personalities, and food producers who have earned household name status thanks to her TV appearances as a judge on The Great Australian Bake Off and Masterchef Australia. Maggie moved to the Barossa Valley, South Australia's renowned wine region, where she founded legendary restaurant Pheasant Farm Restaurant and Farm Shop and on-farm accommodation Orchard House, accommodation worth staying for those of you going to the Barossa. Since Barossa is only an hour from Adelaide, Maggie loves going into town and checking out her favorite indie restaurants, from Ruby Red Flamingo, North Adelaide's Italian restaurant to Restaurant Botanic's fine dining menu. For wine lovers, Maggie recommends East End Cellars and Exchange if you're more into coffee — and of course, if you're in the area, you can pick up flowers at The Story by Sally Wotton.

Beyond the wide variety of activities Tasmania has to offer, visitors can also take an “island getaway” to sample local delicacies. Steph loves going to Bruny Island, the little island off the big island, for some of the best oysters (from Get Shucked) and local cheese (from Bruny Island Cheese). For those of you staying in Hobart, the starting point of many of the Tasmanian Walking Company's walking routes, Steph recommends visiting the Mona Museum of Old and New Art and the local markets at Salamanca and Farm Gate.
